PATIENT OR MESSAGE FILLS SCHEDULE

 

When either an appointment or a message was being deleted, a “zero” record was deleted.  This will manifest itself in filling the scheduler with either a patient’s name or a message.

 

Patient’s Name has filled the future appointment calendar

STEP 1            Close the appointment scheduler on all computers using TPS2000.

 

STEP 2            Click on the Open File Folder and select  “Doctor’s Information”.

 

STEP 3            Click on the TAB  Schedule Column Detail.

 

STEP 4            Fill in the Apply From with TODAY’ S date.  Fill in the Apply To with the date for which you want to create schedules (no more than 2 years out please!).

 

STEP 5            Click on Apply This Schedule.

 

STEP 6            When it is done saving the schedule, repeat for each doctor in the clinic.  You may change to another Doctor’s file by using either the VCR arrows on the Navigation Bar or using the “Show List of Records” icon to the right of these arrows.

 

A message has filled the scheduler

STEP 1            Click on the Telephone Icon on the Navigation Bar.

 

STEP 2            Put a “check mark” in the ALL of each of the view selections.

 

STEP 3            Scroll through this list of messages, looking for a message line that has no name listed in the Patient Name field.

 

STEP 4            Highlight this message line by clicking once on the line.

 

STEP 5            Click on the button at the bottom of the screen that reads [DELETE MESSAGE].

 

STEP 6            Finish scrolling the list to be sure that there are no other message entries without a patient name attached.
