Synchronizing the computers to the server (NT Server)

These steps need to be done on each of the computers. This only works if your office restarts the computers in the a.m. before the day starts (or turn the computer on in the a.m.).

Here are the steps to do:

Click on “START”

Go to “RUN”

Type COMMAND and click on “OK”

Type C: and hit “ENTER”

Type CD WINN\PROFILES\ALLUSE~1\STARTM~1\PROGRAMS and hit ENTER

Type EDIT TIME.BAT

Type the following inside that screen:

Net time\\romeo-server /SET /Y (romeo = whatever name you give the server – change romeo to

whatever is true for your server, also make sure the word “SET” and letter “Y” are in capital letters).

Click on “FILE” (on that screen) select exit and say “YES” to save

Now Right Click on “START”

Select “Open all users”

Double click on “Programs”

Drag “Time” to “StartUp” and close all the windows
