How To use The Setup Wizard

The setup wizard was built to facilitate the training and setting up of TPS2000. It is found under quick start as setup wizard. Once the Setup Wizard is started you will be taken to a screen like below.

The Setup wizard is easy to use, to start the process of setting up TPS2000 hit the drop down arrow and select the type of setup you what to start.

Click here to Start the setup Process

Once the type of setup is selected, and if you are ready to start hit the “start” button. Once the setup process is started, the setup wizard will take you to the first step of setting up TPS2000.

You will notice that the amount of steps left of each section will be listed under the “Form Step” section. The “Form” section will show the amount of section left to the setup process of TPS2000. And under the “Wizard Step” section you will see the overall amount of setup steps left.

On the bottom section of the setup wizard, it will explain how to complete the current setup step. The explanation in that box will change as you move on the next step.  We suggest that the section be used in conjunction to the training videos (on CD).

Once you are done with the setup step you are on, click on the “Next” button to navigate to the next setup step. Once all the setup sections are completed in a form (setup step) you will be taken to the next form. Depending on the  type of form you are on, you may be asked to pick several questions. Some forms require several items to be setup (as an example the services / procedures area ). At the end of the required steps this type of form you will be asked if you would like to continue to work with the form, If you say yes,  an empty copy of the form you where just on will be created so you can continue your inputting. Hitting no, would take you out of the current form and in to the next to continue onto the next sections (Hint: It is easiest to enter all of the items for a section before you continue on).

As you progress though the setup you will notice that some fields will be highlighted blue, and some black. The blue steps are required steps, meaning that you will be required to enter some kind of data in to it. The black steps are, non required steps meaning they may be bypassed if needed.

Available, competed steps.

An important thing to keep in mind is the top section of the setup wizard, you will noticed there is a check box available (show form list). When you use this button the bottom of the setup wizard will change to show all the different forms that make up the setup type you selected. As you complete forms if needed you can back track by hitting the “show form list” button and selecting any of the available (black) forms from the list, and then hitting the “go to form #” button.

Also, every form has a staring page (the first step in a form). If the form is Not-required you will notice a new button (“skip”) right below the “stop” / “start” button. If you notice that the form you are on is not one that you need feel free to hit the “skip” button to skip that form.

Once you are done with the form you are on (when you are on the last step) you can use the “stop” button to exit the setup wizard. You can also use the “stop” button while In the middle of a form but the wizard will not allow you to exit until the current form is completed.

Keep in mind that the setup wizard is only a ruler to help you while setting up TPS2000, it’s important that if you find your are having trouble with a particular step, please pull up the actual how to on that step for further study.
