HOW TO SETUP USER DEFINED
FIELDS
TPS 2000 gives you the
ability to add your own fields. If there
are special, dates, hobbies, or memo type items that you would like to see in
TPS 2000, you may name them here. You
have a minimum of 2 full screens that may be customized for your use.
In both the Patient and
Patient Claims Screen, you will have a tab marked User Def. On this screen you will see 4 date fields, 5
single line entry fields and 2 memo fields. For example, one of the date
entries might be labeled "Patient's Anniversary". One of the single line entries might be
labeled "Number of Children".

Once these fields are renamed in this
Registry form, the names you have chosen will be seen on each patient's claim
screen.
You may access the User Defined
entries list by clicking on the above icon.
Or from the Open File Folder, select Basic Business Information. This will open the System Registry. From here use the pull down arrow and find
User Defined (either Patient or Claims).

When in this entry DO NOT
CHANGE THE CODE FIELD! Either click on or tab to the Name/Description field and
replace the User10, for example, with the name you wish this field to
represent.
When setting up these
screens, try to group your headings appropriately. Items such as E-Mail address or Cell Phone
should go in the Patient User Defined screens as these will not change, even if
the patient has more than one claim.
