Gregg Friedman, DC, CICE, has
announced the creation of the first electronic SOAP note program that explicitly
follows the Problem Oriented Medical Record format as well as the P.A.R.T.
format. The note is powered by
Documentor™, a premier documentation program designed and manufactured by EON
Systems, Inc., a twenty year veteran of the software industry.
Working like an electronic travel
card, Dr. Friedman’s SOAP Note Program enables the user to exceed the P.A.R.T.
requirements for Medicare, as well as other carriers, in fewer than 10 seconds
for most office visits. In addition, Dr. Friedman has designed the note to
allow the doctor to document specific information that are value drivers for
Colossus® and other claims evaluation software.
Dr. Friedman is a recognized
authority on chiropractic documentation and teaches seminars to chiropractors
all over the country. He warns doctors that just because their
documentation is computer/type-written, it doesn’t mean the documentation is
good. In order to prove the need to begin care and justify the need to
continue care, specific items must be documented, which are included in his
note.
In addition, Dr. Friedman’s SOAP
Note, can be integrated with EON Systems’ other product offerings, including a
full practice management program and a document handling and storage program.
A doctor can start with the SOAP note program and add on other features,
moving toward a fully digital office.
